How many people do you shoot in a day?
One or two people a day.
Do you shoot headshots with natural light or in the studio?
Headshots I shoot with natural light (indoors or outdoors).
Studio lighting is often used for corporate headshots.
Do you shoot digital or film, and what is included in my headshot package?
All my sessions are digital.
Your headshot package includes an online web gallery,
a CD with 4x6 proofs & files for web use.
All high rez images for hard copy reproductions are ordered and paid for separately.
Do you shoot color?
Yes, love it and glad it's finally here but we can turn any image into black and white.
How long does a typical headshot photo session take?
An hour or so for makeup, wardrobe, and most importantly coffee time!
An additional hour for each setup.
Two setups would take about three hours.
Do you provide makeup? Hair?
Yes I provide a professional makeup artist and highly recommend one.
Our makeup artists stay with you throughout your session.
Come with your hair already styled.
The makeup artist has a full hair kit to watch for hair.
What is your availability?
I'm booked roughly 6-8 weeks in advance.
When can we do a consultation?
My hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.
I'm happy to do a phone consultation at anytime that's convenient for you.
Due to time contstraints, there is a $50 charge per half hour, for in person meetings.
In the event that you decide to book a session, your $50 will apply towards the session.
What kind of clothing should I bring to my headshot session?
Bring lots, lots and lots of your favorite clothes.
Vibrant solid colors are great for color headshots.
Please stay away from whites, blacks, grays, pastels and patterns.
*Because answers to some questions are often individual and vary for each person, any other questions you may have regarding wardrobe, marketing looks etc. can be answered with a quick phone call.
